| Biography | Cristy Watson is an award-winning author of four hi-lo middle-grade novels (Orca Book Publishers) and four hi-lo YA novels (Lorimer Kids and Teens) and has poetry appearing in Worth More Standing, CV2 Magazine, The Ekphrastic Review and The Poetry Marathon Anthology (2017-2023). She also edited the Half-Marathon Poems for The Poetry Marathon Anthology, 2022 and edits for a number of authors, as well as offering writing workshops both online and in-person. She recently moved back to her birthplace of Calgary, Alberta after living in British Columbia for the past 28 years. She loves entering writing contests, especially ones with tight time limits. |
