Dr. Becca Babcock is a writing instructor, writer, and actor. Originally from Cold Lake, Alberta, she spent several years in Edmonton before moving to Nova Scotia. She has published three books: two novels, One Who Has Been Here Before (Vagrant Press/Nimbus Publishing, 2021) and Some There Are Fearless (Vagrant Press/Nimbus Publishing, 2023), and a short story cycle, Every Second Weekend (Blaurock Press, 2011). She is also the Assistant Dean of Student Matters for Dalhousie's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, where she teaches writing (creative and academic).
