Biography

Gillian Corsiatto hails from central Alberta, Canada, right between its two most major cities, Calgary and Edmonton. Her love of writing began in early life and she was praised for her creative writing talents throughout primary and secondary school. After her high school graduation in 2016, she immediately entered the now non-existent music program at Red Deer College. Following that, she left her music major and tried out some new courses and programs, but was always lead right back to writing. Duck Light was a passion project sparked by her creation of the character Lulu the Duck. Published in 2021, Duck Light is her first major published work. As of 2023, a sequel is in the works. Aside from the literary arts, Gillian has a love of all things music and theatre. She is very involved in the local performing arts scene and vows to make it to Broadway someday to take in a spectacle like no other.
