Biography

Beth Everest has retired from a 30 career of teaching writing at Mount Royal University so that she can focus on her own work. After having breast cancer, she wrote Silent Sister: The Mastectomy Poems which was short-listed for and/or won numerous awards, including the Robert Kroetsch Award from the Alberta Publishing Association. Currently, she is working on a collection of semi-historical fiction. In another life, she pretends to be a real silver-smith, pounding and melting silver in her home studio.
