Biography | Laurie Hodges Humble's publications include the 2004 CBC Anthology and the Alexandra Reader 25th Anniversary Anthology. Her novella Middle of Nowhere was shortlisted for the 2009 Ken Klonsky competition. She is grateful to Scripts at Work for the opportunity to explore the craft of play writing. In November 2012 her play 'The Poplar Grove Ladies Club' was produced and performed as a fund raiser for the Dickson Store Museum and received rave reviews. In June 2013 Murder By the Book was included in the C.A.T. One Act Play Festival. The event was sold out for all 3 performances. Having lived in all three western provinces, Laurie currently resides in a small Alberta town. She claims the wind blew her there. |
