Biography | The foothills of the Alberta Rockies are my current home but I have lived and travelled all over Canada. Stories of Canadians who accomplish or experience the incredible are often my inspiration; over the past decade, I've authored 8 books and edited several dozen more. Specializing in Canadian topics biography, history, sport, aviation and literature of all genres for adults and younger readers my 25 years of experience in publishing has included writing and editing for magazines and book publishers, as well as for corporate not-for-profits. As a freelancer, I love to apply my experience and education to creative non-fiction writing, research or editing projects. My MA in Canadian history and communications complements a certificate in professional writing and professional development with the Editors' Association of Canada. |
