Biography | An ex-Montrealer, living in Edmonton since 1993, Dolly Dennis is an award-winning playwright, a published poet, essayist and author, whose work has appeared in literary journals, newspapers, corporate newsletters, anthologies and the CBC. She has also been on the short-list for an Alberta literary Award for creative non-fiction. Her first novel, Loddy-Dah (Guernica Editions) is on the syllabus of the first year Womenês Literature course at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn. Her second book, The Complex Arms is published by Dundurn Press. She is also a visual artist and her paintings have been showcased in several group exhibitions in Edmonton and have sold. |
