Biography

Michelle Greysen …

is an edgy articulate professional freelance writer whose work can be read in a variety of publications across the country, including many cover stories and features to her byline credit.

Earning a CERTIFICATE in CREATIVE WRITING 2022 in The Writers' Studio at Simon Fraser University, Michelle has also studied at Sage Hill Writing School in Saskatchewan, and a writing residency at Wallace Stegner House.

Michelle's FICTION writing has gained publication credits and nominations (see below in Publications) including a nomination to the coveted JOURNEY PRIZE (2015).

Michelle's background in the print industry and her past corporate career as a publisher gives her an ability to see the story from both sides of the page. Her copy not only produces an enjoyable read but appeals to the demographic of the publication and weaves a tale that is editorially sound but also a perfect fit for the market from all angles, readership and revenue.

The global publishing dilemma, the chicken-and-egg argument of editorial versus advertising and which side truly sells magazine, is a non-issue with Ms. Greysen's copy. Her well-researched storyline fits the publication as a whole, meeting and exceeding both editorial and publishing needs.

Her extensive background lends itself to a perfect fit as a sharp copy writer with the skill set to polish your web site or marketing materials to position your venture for greater sales and success.

Michelle not only gets-it in this competitive multiple-media product world, she also tells a great story, writes polished copy and professionally delivers – clean and on time!
