| Biography | I love to write about the various experiences I am fortunate to gain in the 'great outdoors'. I have written approximately 30 stories recounting my experiences along various hiking trails in the Canadian Rockies and in Prince Albert National Park - and elsewhere. I hope to be able to publish a collection of these. Christmas - and the other seasons and holidays of the year - have inspired me to create many of my writings. I have written approximately 35 stories and poems with a Christmas theme. Many of these have been published during the past 13 years by The Wanderer, the oldest weekly Catholic publication in the U.S. (St. Paul, Minnesota). I am very happy to add that I published a collection of 23 of my Christmas writings in October of 2016. Available on Amazon, my book is called, "Finding Christmas - Tales and Poems of The Spirit of Christmas". I have also written several pieces with a children's theme, another of my favourite topics. With my background in Physical Education and fitness, I have written a high school fitness program (Lifestyle Fitness) that is being used by over 80 schools in Canada, 40 in the U.S., 2 in New Zealand, and 3 international schools. I also wrote a weekly fitness article for the Wainwright Star Chronicle in 1992. |
