Biography | Following a long break from writing, Kenneth recovered his passion for writing. He is a science fiction, fantasy, and nonfiction author with Inevitable Unicorn Press (InUPress). Kenneth has been blogging with the Owerton Challenge and other blogs. He now writes several serial short stories. Publications | Published on June 19, 2017 is his fantasy novel, 'Laret' under the author name, Kenneth Shumaker through the publisher iUniverse. Awards | In the early 1980's he won the award for Best New Poet of the Year from the American Poetry Society, with his then being invited to Seattle, Washington to present the poem to a convention audience of 5,000 the following spring. He opted to stay with his classes in college, over presenting to the audience eighteen hours away. |
Experience | Kenneth has been working from 2013 to current as lead moderator for Fellowship of the Scribblers writing group. He has been traditionally published in 1982 for the award winning poetry, and again in 2015 by Kellan publishing with the Bloodgrue series. Kenneth is constantly upgrading his skills with courses from skillshare, LinkedIn's Lynda as well as ALC and other sources.
