Graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) diploma in journalism, print media. In a better-late-than-never career I spent 2012 to 2104 in northern Alberta as a journalist at weekly newspapers in La Crete and Manning.
Since 2016, I've been a volunteer journalist at The Military Museums in Calgary and published museum news stories and photographs in The Western Sentinel military newspaper (it's published by Edmonton Sun and is now exclusively online.)
I hope to be published in the spring 2020 issue of The Quarterly, the RCMP veteran's association magazine with a story about the Calgary based North West Mounted Police Commemorative Association (the predecessor of the RCMP.)
I play trombone with the NWMP brass band (I'm the band's weak link LOL.) .
I am currently at work on a story about my experience as a rookie journalist.
I am French-Canadian but work, think, study and write in English.
I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in philosophy, both from Concordia University in Montreal.
I've been in Calgary since 1997.
