| Biography | Dave is a freelance and fiction writer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He hails originally from Toronto and is, still, a very proud Torontonian, even though he and his family reside in the Little Portland of Canada. While he intended, so many years ago, on starting on a career in writing, he eventually ended up working in the video games industry as a Narrative Level Designer on such titles as Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 at the prestigious BioWare and as the Narrative Lead Level Designer for the production of the new upcoming game Mass Effect: Andromeda. He also was a part of the creation and the design of most of the expansions for this franchise as well. After 14 years in games, and 3 before that in Broadcast Design, Dave decided it was time to get back to his roots. He's been working as a fiction writer ever since. Dave is currently working on his first novel, as well as several short stories that he hopes to see in print very soon. He is also doing some freelance writing for several local businesses. He is an amateur cook and photographer, a father and a husband. |
