Biography

Bree Taylor is a queer writer and poet living on Treaty Six Territory. She received her B.A. from the University of Alberta in 2023 and will be starting an MFA in Fiction at UBC in 2024. She won the L. June Kelly Prize in Introductory Poetry in 2020 and was a finalist for the Dell Magazines Award for Undergraduate Excellence in Science Fiction and Fantasy Writing in 2022. Bree’s poetry has appeared in 3 Moon Magazine, C&P Quarterly, Funicular, the Celestial/Bodies anthology, and "How To Get A Thigh Gap”, a chapbook she co-authored with Nisha Patel. Her fiction has appeared in Quagmire Magazine and “Liminal Space: A Debut Student Anthology.”
