| Biography | Nick Azam, born and raised in Pakistan, has served as an Infantry Officer for 13 years in a foreign military, and now serving in the Canadian Army as a Logistics officer (Land). His Canadian studies are in business management (aviation), private piloting/flying, and pursuing an undergrad degree in English and Creative Writing from MacEwan University in Edmonton AB. The employment experience comprises the real property management (as a community director), real estate sales, assets security services, Canadian cadetsê organization, Canadian Navy League, and Cadet Training Centre at Vernon BC, and at Cold Lake AB. He wrote training memoirs and non-fiction and published in the military gazette since he was a young gentleman Cadet at 19. He wrote in poetry genre. He published in –A-One Poetry” and won the publisherês award. He uses his life experiences as a vehicle in his writing. His recent work comprises genre non-fiction, literary non-fiction, and poetry. Currently, he is working on two Novels, Audacity of Childhood and How Our Adolescents Cultivate Themselves. He is also working on a short fiction Novela. His writings invoke emotional reactions from his readers, and pride himself as his Profs named him as an action writer. |
