The WGA needs readers for our Manuscript Reading Service. If you are a published author, you may qualify to join the roster of readers for this growing service of the Writers Guild of Alberta. Learn more about what the position requires here.
Manuscript Readers give a thorough reading and evaluation of submitted manuscripts, providing valuable feedback and direction to writers using the service. Readers are paid a fee based on word count (for prose manuscripts) or by page count (for poetry manuscripts and drama scripts).
Interested applicants should submit a resume and letter outlining qualifications, including what genres and forms you are qualified to work in. Applications and queries can be emailed to [email protected]. The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 1st, 2025.
