WGA Website Hack

Hello Everyone,

You may have heard of a recent flaw in one of the plug-ins on the WordPress platform (Read about the issue HERE). The plug-in flaw allowed hackers to access websites utilizing the Elementor plug-in. The WGA’s website was a victim of this hack last weekend.

We want to assure everyone that we do not store any financial or credit card information on our website; however, one of our administrative accounts was the target for the hack, which may have compromised members’ contact information.

We have worked with our website developer and IT support to resolve the problem on the website and update the plug-in security. We will also be performing a security audit on the site to ensure all traces of the hack have been removed.

If you receive any spam email from the WGA, mark the message as “spam,” do not open it or click on any links in the message.

At this time, we recommend that you change your WGA website password.

If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
