Cameron and Lewis are identical twins living small-town lives … until their parents kill two uninvited guests at a neighbourhood barbecue, and then disappear. The brothers are left with three truths:

Following their mother’s final cryptic instruction, they flee to Scotland. Each day, they venture out—taking turns so as to go undetected—to uncover their parents’ past and where they might be now. Racing through cities and castles—making friends and enemies along the way—the boys start to doubt everything they knew about their family … and themselves.
