A collection of poetry from the pen of the Prairie Poet, Ellamae Ingram Gunn, including award-winners, some published in the Alberta Poetry Yearbook, and featured on CBC radio, reissued in large print format, with additional vintage photographs and some new, previously unpublished material.

Ellamae Gunn was a prolific Alberta poet from 1963 to the late 1990s. She was an early member of both the Alberta and Saskatchewan Writer's Guilds, and won countless contests, including Canadian Author and Bookman Editor's award for Best Canadian Poem of 1986, for Armageddon, which was also later featured on CBC radio's Cabbages and Kings.
