About the Featured Reader
Tarini Fernando is a poet, typesetter, and enthusiast of mid-century country music. She recently completed her master’s in English at the University of Calgary and has since worked in various roles at the academic publisher Broadview Press. A somewhat bizarre variety of Tarini’s writing has appeared in filling Station, 3Elements Literary Review, English Studies in Canada, CBC News, and is forthcoming in a Routledge textbook. Her chapbook Hesitations was published with Model Press in 2024. Tarini lives, works, and plays in beautiful downtown Calgary, but sometimes she dreams of living in the San Fernando Valley.
