We are aware of the announced national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). We understand this may impact our Awards intake process, and we want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation.
Please note the following:
- If you have already sent your submission via Canada Post, it may experience delays in reaching us. However, as long as your package is postmarked before the submission deadline, it will be accepted and considered valid.
- Submissions sent through alternative delivery methods such as FedEx or UPS will not be affected by this strike and should arrive as scheduled.
- We are committed to keeping you informed of any developments or changes that may affect the submission process.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure a fair and smooth intake process for all participants.
Please note, that anyone who has sent mail such as membership cheques or workshop payments to the WGA via Canada Post should be aware that there will be a delay in our receiving and processing those items.
