Along with the dog, Teedoe, readers are guided on a meandering walk, encountering a myriad of plants, trees, and animals. Each description is both informative and engaging, supplemented by enlightening “Fun Facts” that offer a deeper dive into the history and importance of this area. Photos of local flowers and shrubs provide a visual that allows readers to possible identify the flora when they take their own walk on the grasslands region.
