"Fallen in Love" is an anthology of short stories and novellas, wherein 10 authors imagine relationships between humans and angels, and between angels, including "fallen" angels. "The Blizzard", Robert G. Proudfoot's novella, describes a friendship between a female angel (Arielle) and a troubled, bitter man (Topher). While they work together on a northern Alberta jobsite, Arielle helps Topher deal with his addictions and admonishes him to restore broken family relationships. Arielle is arrested by another angel and taken back to Heaven for refinement, but she finds redemption by saving an airplane caught in a blizzard from crashing that Topher and other workers are flying home to Edmonton in after their shift.
