At a recent meeting, the WGA board voted on changes to fill board vacancies. The WGA is pleased to announce the following.
Edmonton playwright Blaine Newton has joined the board as interim president until the 2022 AGM.
Grande Prairie author Teresa Wouters has moved from a member at large position into vice president.
Calgary poet and short story author Olga Krochak Sulkin has joined the board as treasurer until the 2022 AGM.
The WGA would also like to thank outgoing vice president Theresa Uchechi Ezeuko (Calgary) for her years of service on the board.
