Scholarships
The Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Alberta Culture and Community Services offer four scholarship programs designed to support the development of young Albertans in the film and video, literary, performing, and visual arts. The deadline for all four scholarship programs is May 1 annually.
Grant MacEwan Creative Writing Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts to a young Albertan who demonstrates talent and potential along with clear educational or training goals in the literary arts. One scholarship is awarded annually to a young Albertan 25 years of age or younger. The value of the scholarship is $5000.
Queen’s Golden Jubilee Scholarship for Performing Arts
This scholarship is awarded by Alberta Culture and Community Services to a student who demonstrates talent and potential along with clear educational or training goals in the performing arts. One scholarship is awarded annually to a young Albertan 25 years of age or younger. The value of the scholarship is $5000.
