A Message from Colin Matty…
Hello, and welcome to WordsWorth.
If you’ve found your way here, that might mean you love words as much as I do. Words are powerful, bizarre, and beautiful. They are tools and toys. My name is Colin Matty, and I am the director of WordsWorth.
WordsWorth is a place where friends and mentors come together to celebrate, to create, and to deepen our understanding and appreciation for the written word, in all its myriad forms. Comic books, songs, genre fiction, memoirs, groan worthy puns, and everything between and beyond! But it doesn’t end there. Outside of classes taught by our wide range of award winning and professional artist-instructors, you’ll be swimming the pool during a rousing round of Death Polo, or perhaps running through the woods with a sword – or relaxing by the riverside, strumming your ukulele and writing in your journal. After songs by the campfire and a bedtime story, it’s off to bed and dreamland until the next morning.
If you’re intrigued, I invite you to take a look around. If you’ve ever wanted to immerse yourself in a creative community that will challenge and inspire you, WordsWorth is the summer experience you’ve been waiting for.
Welcome to WordsWorth. I’ll see you at camp.
Good Health and Good Spirits,
Director of WordsWorth
