The general theme of "Fallen in Love" involves romantic stories involving angels, humans, and nephilim (mythical, biblical off-spring of humans and fallen angels that walked the earth prior to the great flood). Happy ever afters are not required. My contribution is a novella (14,800 words) called "The Blizzard" that I wrote in 2025. This story is about Topher Chase, a struggling and embittered, middle-aged man whose marriage is failing and his adult daughters and wife Elizabeth require accountability for Topher's addictions to pornography and alcohol, and estrangement from them and his mother. Topher is visited by his loving female guardian angel during an Alberta blizzard, who helps him overcome despair, and childhood loss of his father.
