Samantha Power is the feature writer for The News, a provincial affairs publication. Her work can most often be found in The Tyee, The Yards, and Metro Edmonton. She previously worked as a TV producer at Alberta Primetime and as the news editor at Vue Weekly. She can be found on twitter @samantha_power.
Mack Lamoureux is a multimedia journalist and photographer based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Focusing on all mediums of journalism Mack’s words, images, and videos have been featured in Vice, the Edmonton Journal, the Montreal Gazette, the Ottawa Citizen, Canada.com, Noisey, and others. Mack has photographed some of the biggest musical artists in North America including Arcade Fire, Tom Petty, Rod Stewart, Jack White, Earth Wind and Fire, among many others and his long form video journalism has been accepted to numerous film festivals both nationally and internationally. Omar Mouallem is a National Magazine Awards winning writer whose stories have appeared in The Guardian, Wired, Rolling Stone, Maclean’s and more (see below).
