If necessary, we’ll do a draw for spots. In May, in celebration of Asian Heritage Month, we’re excited to feature brilliant poet and scientist Viraj Muthye!

About the Featured Reader

Viraj Muthye is an Indian poet, science communicator, and scientist. He composes verses and rhymes about his lived experiences as a person of colour and immigrant in North America, his struggles with mental health and identity, socio-political issues facing his many homes (India, USA, Canada), among other things. All of his poems have one goal – to start a conversation. Viraj published a book of poems in English in India over 12 years ago and is currently working on his second book. He is currently working as a bioinformatician at the Alberta children’s hospital and is the founder of the creative science alliance.
