The WGA Presents: It’s a Wonderful Quiz!
A literary pub quiz for writers and literature lovers alike. Divided into 3 rounds: Edmonton books and literature, Canadian literature, International books, authors, and literary trivia. Lots of bonuses and a special final round and other surprises.
Do you know who was the first Canadian to win the Nobel Prize for Literature? Do you know where ink comes from? Did Jules Verne really fly around the world in 80 days? Is it true that writers used to make money? If you know the answers to any or all of these questions then put a team together and let’s quiz!
The WGA will help singles and groups of two find a team to join.
*Be advised that 9910 is only accessible via stairway and has no elevator access*
How to quiz:
- Make a team of 3-6 players
- Come up with a great team name (best name wins a prize)
- Study the last 800 years worth of English literature (Harry Potter included)
- Learn how to be gracious in defeat and in victory. It’s just for fun!
RSVP is now closed, but do join us tonight! We’d love to see you!
