The Almanac, 10351 Whyte Avenue
Member $5; Non-members $10, payable at the door
At our annual holiday party on Dec 5 at the Almanac on Whyte (7pm) we are excited to welcome writers from almost every decade possible to represent their respective demographics for an evening of getting to know WGA members unlike any before. Do you ever wonder what the price of gas was in 1928? How many words per minute could you type on a typewriter in 1975? What exactly is dabbing? All these questions and more can be answered for you by your fellow WGA members if you just have the temerity to ask. The proud writers currently scheduled to perform their work, with the hopes of entire generations resting on their shoulders are:
- Alison Clarke
- Charlie Gill
- Katherine Koller
- Tyler Hein
- Peter Midgley
- Anna Mioduchowska
- Ariana Townsend
There will be stories, poems, snacks, good cheer, and maybe surprise or two still in store. $5 for members, $10 for non-members.
Please RSVP via the form below.
