Join the Writers’ Guild of Alberta Youth Committee and the Mount Royal Write Club at Shelf Life Books for their first-ever collaborative Young Writers’ Showcase.
Calgary has a thriving community of young writers and authors, covering mediums like fiction, poetry, prose, spoken word, zines, and more. The evening’s lineup will feature 15 writers associated with the WGA and/or MRU Write Club whose work has been published, awarded, and widely recognized throughout Calgary and beyond.
With performances being five minutes or less, audiences will experience the breadth and depth of what writers under 30 have to offer. Published work by the performers will also be available for purchase.
