Join us as fiction writer Debbie Willis and poet Marco Melfi read from their work. Readings will be followed by a moderated Q&A period on finding your audience.
Debbie Willis’s work has appeared in The Walrus, The Virginia Quarterly, The Iowa Review, Lucky Peach, and Zoetrope She’s published two short story collections, and she is the 2017-2018 Writer in Residence at MacEwan University. Her new book, The Dark and Other Love Stories, was selected as one of twelve titles on the longlist for the 2017 Scotiabank Giller Prize!
Marco Melfi is an Edmonton poet whose work has been published in The Prairie Journal, FreeFall Magazine, the Edmonton Poetry Festival’s Poetry Route and 40 Below: Volume 2. His chapbook, In between trains, was published in 2014, and Marco was the recipient of the Sharon Drummond Chapbook award.
