Jeff Godin has studied dance at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, worked an extra in TV, taken part in a few indy films, did contract stilt walking for The Green Fools, appeared in some of Front Row Centre Player’s shows, and was a board member for the Single Onion, among other things. He also had one chapbook published and it was called “Outlaw.” Currently Jeff lives in Lethbridge, and he is the president of the Most Vocal poets society. In the last 4 or 5 years Jeff hammered out his autobiography called “Bears Falling From Trees With Erections.” The book was too large to be published as one book so the publisher made it into 2 books which can be found on Amazon.

Walter MacDonald White Bear is a Cree singer-songwriter originally from the First Nation of Moose Factory, Ontario. In addition, Walter is an educator, performer and motivational speaker. He has been performing acoustic and flute music for several years. Performance highlights include The Edmonton Folk Music Festival, The Chiefs Summit with Tom Jackson, The Dream Speakers Festival, The Mountain Song Native Theater, World Indigenous Peoples Conference on Education and more. Walter’s music is a reflection of his personal journey as a First Nations person in Canada. He has shared his cultural knowledge with various audiences that range from correctional services to principals, teachers and students. Walter has worked with Samantha Whelan Kotkas for seven years as a teaching artist and performer. His talents and facilitation skills are highly sought after.

Alycia Two Bears is a member of Mistawasis Nêhiyawak First Nation but calls Mohkinstsis home. As a Poet, she has earned an Honourable Mention in the 2019/2020 Kemosa Scholarship for Indigenous Mothers in Alberta. Alycia was a contributor to the Matriarchy Edition of Winnipeg’s Red Rizing Magazine. This connection led to Alycia leading an online night of self care and poetry for femmes and females last Valentines Day. A regular contributor to New Tribe Magazine she has written articles about colonization, MMIW2S, Two Spirit history, terms and community supports that accompanies these topics. Her poetry included in New Tribe has been driven by the love of her community.
