The Writers’ Guild of Alberta
 and Yoga Santosha are thrilled to offer a mindfulness, yoga and writing workshop exploring themes of Transition (seasonal, creative, personal and physical). No yoga experience required and modifications will be offered to those with injuries. Join us for a restorative yin and mindfulness-based practice with writing prompts, timed free writes, short meditations, slow yoga poses, and select reading throughout. Mats, bolsters and blocks will be provided to create comfortable sitting arrangements and writing surfaces.  Wear comfortable exercise clothes and bring your notebook and pen!

Amber Rotar completed her alliance yoga teacher training in India. She is a dedicated practitioner and instructs full-time between several yoga studios in Calgary. Amber believes that mindfulness, movement, and attention to the present moment can restore the body, mind and spirit. She teaches from an intention to simply hold space: Space for awareness. Space to heal. Space for uniqueness. Space to awaken. She loves to incorporate writing and poetry into her teaching and mindfulness practice.
