Use your incredible talent to travel to Nice, France

The Canada Council for the Arts is inviting Canada’s youth to take part in the next Jeux de la Francophonie in Nice, France. We are now accepting applications from the best young artists in Canada in 12 different cultural disciplines.

If you’re a Canadian artist between 18 and 35 years old, why not apply? You’ll find all the information you need on the Council’s website, including all the steps leading to Nice.

Application deadline: July 20, 2012

The Jeux de la Francophonie take place every four years. For young artists, the Jeux are an unparalleled springboard for their careers. The upcoming seventh edition of the Jeux will attract more than 3,000 talented young artists and athletes from the 75 of the member or observer countries or governments that belong to the Francophonie.

The Department of Canadian Heritage is responsible for preparing and overseeing the Team Canada members who will be taking part in the VIIth Jeux de la Francophonie in Nice.
