SHORTHAND
If you’re aged 16-25 and are looking for opportunities to put your writing out there – and gain publishing credits – then here’s just the ticket for you. Shorthand, Canada’s youth lit zine, is accepting submissions in all genres for inclusion. Poetry, short fiction, novel excerpts, scenes from plays, graphic stories, creative non-fiction: they want it all, and they’ll publish selected entries every month, picked by a peer youth editorial board. You will be published alongside established Canadian writers sharing their writing tips and career path, and active emerging writers from their celebrated mentoring program.
