We are no longer able to use mail merge to send emails, so we have started sending out membership renewal notices and other notifications via MailChimp, the same service we use to send WriteClick. However, while MailChimp is great at getting past spam filters, it’s possible that if your email has a Promotions tab or folder, notices from us will automatically go there. If you are expecting an email membership renewal notice and do not receive it in your expiry month, please check your Promotions tab or folder as well as your spam folder, just in case. You may be able to have future renewal notices, as well as future email notifications we send out via MailChimp, appear in your main inbox by dragging the email from Promotions to your main inbox.
If you are not sure when you should be expecting your membership renewal notice or if you will be getting it by email or post, you can find your expiry date and current correspondence preferences by logging in to your member account on our website and visiting Members Home. If you don’t know your username and password, you may retrieve it at Lost Password. If you wish to receive renewal notices by post, you may update your preferences online.
