Dianne Palovcik reads from her historical fiction novel, In Trouble, and talks with Joan Marie Galat about the book and her writing journey.
As an adoptee herself who grew up in the 60s in Atlantic Canada, Dianne (Taylor) Palovcik was inspired to write In Trouble and bring this hidden part of Canadian history to life for a new generation. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University, an education certificate from the University of Alberta Faculty of Education, an employment training specialist certificate from the University of San Francisco, and a travel writing certificate from Lakeland College. Dianne worked with People with Disabilities for more than 20 years, and co-authored a training course for Human Service workers in Alberta. Dianne and her husband live in Alberta.
