Rest in Peace, Mel Hurtig

It is with deep regret that we announce Audreys Books founder, Mel Hurtig, has passed away at the age of 84. He was a publisher for a number of Alberta authors and the significant work The Canadian Encyclopedia. Hurtig passed away in Vancouver on Wednesday. Read the CBC article about Mel Hurtig here.
